First discovered Le Bar a Vin during a night out with friends - we shared a cheeseboard and worked our way through their excellent wine list. As you'd expect, the staff were very knowledgeable with their recommendations... though I'll admit the evening became a bit hazy after the third (or was it fourth?) glass! Visited again more recently, this time for a live music night with Beau Keats. The atmosphere was magical with twinkling fairy lights and candlelight everywhere. Settled in with a gorgeous glass of Sancerre and was completely swept away by the whole evening. The place has such a warm, intimate atmosphere. Perfect for both special occasions and casual catch-ups. Already planning my next visit!

What a warming experience! Shared between 2, the French onion soup, Camembert, bœuf bourguignon and tried snails for the first time! All were super tasty and we were full by the end. Washed down with a carafe of one of the cheaper red wine options which was also good. Highlight was the port to finish.

Had a great time at this wine bar. The atmosphere was lovely, and the cheese and meat board was excellent—fresh, well presented, and a perfect match for the wine. Special shout out to our waitress Daniella—she was a star. It was a busy afternoon, but she handled everything on her own with calm and efficiency. Friendly, professional, and really made the experience even better. We’ll definitely be back!

Delightful. Rocked up without a reservation and they fitted us in. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Not the most comprehensive menu, but something for everyone, I'd say. French onion soup and cold cuts were both fantastic. And just for a change there was enough bread with the cold cuts, too! I'd definitely go back.

Went there last weekend with my partner and we had some shared platters and some wine. The atmosphere is great, low lights and candles, soft music. The service was also good, it was a quiet evening and we had a really nice time. Will definitely come back!

Excellent wine bar. Loved the fact that the wine menu is considerably bigger than the food menu. We bought a bottle of a french wine, which was amazing, and some cheeses. Staff was very friendly. We went there with our dog and sat outside.
